Selling continues... Sensex drops 830pts

The Sensex is now down 830 points at 15,712 on the back of unabated selling.

The NSE Nifty is down 240 points at 4,681.

Bajaj Auto has slumped 11% to Rs 1,894. Reliance Energy has tumbled 10.5% to Rs 1,306, and ICICI Bank has shed 10% at Rs 865.

Hindalco has dropped 7.8% to Rs 192. NTPC, Ranbaxy, Maruti and Tata Motors have slipped over 6% each to Rs 183, Rs 426, Rs 884 and Rs 661, respectively.

BHEL has shed 5.5% at Rs 1,970. Satyam, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance are down 4% each at Rs 412, Rs 662 and Rs 2,179, respectively.
