<b>Sensex @ 17K:</b> up 121pts; Rel Energy slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 121 points at 17,021.

Wipro and Satyam have soared 4.4% each to Rs 455 and Rs 429, respectively. HDFC has zoomed 3.5% to Rs 2,480.

ICICI Bank, TCS and Infosys have rallied over 3% each to Rs 1,023, Rs 1,034 and Rs 1,827, respectively.

SBI has advanced 2.5% to Rs 1,850. Tata Steel has moved 1.4% to Rs 754, and Cipla is up over 1% at Rs 171.

Reliance Energy has plunged 2.8% to Rs 1,057. Reliance has slipped over 2% to Rs 2,349.

HDFC Bank has declined 1.5% to Rs 1,375. Maruti has dropped 1.3% to Rs 978, and Hindalco is down 1% at Rs 166.

Out of 2,790 stocks traded so far, 1,590 have advanced, 1,129 have declined and 71 are unchanged.
