Sensex above 15K, up 70pts

The Sensex is now up 70 points at 15,006.

Reliance Energy has soared 2.4% to Rs 757. Larsen & Toubro has surged 2.2% to Rs 2,540.

Reliance Communications and ACC have rallied 1.8% each to Rs 540 and Rs 983, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Ambuja Cements, BHEL and Tata Steel have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 374, Rs 131, Rs 1,687 and Rs 631, respectively.

SBI, Maruti and Reliance are up over 1% each.

HDFC Bank has shed 1.3% to Rs 1,146. HDFC, ITC and Wipro are the other prominent losers.
