Sensex above 15K, up 84pts

The Sensex is firmly above the 15,000-mark in early trades. The index is now up 84 points at 15,048.

Infosys has rallied 1.8% to Rs 2,007. Cipla has gained 1.5% at Rs 215.

HDFC Bank and Wipro have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 1,169 and Rs 526, respectively.

HDFC, Satyam, ITC, TCS and Reliance Energy are up around 1% each.
