Sensex above 9,000

The Sensex has advanced 1.1% (96 points) to 9,002.

Reliance Energy has moved up 3.5% (Rs 22) to Rs 653.  BHEL has added 3.4% (Rs 47) to Rs 1,431. Tata Power is still up over 3% (Rs 13) at Rs 446. NTPC is up Rs 2 at Rs 105.

Bajaj is still up Rs 49 at Rs 2,063. While Hero Honda is now up Rs 17 at Rs 841, Maruti is up Rs 11 at Rs 636.

Reliance is steady at Rs 858 - up Rs 12. SBI is also steady at Rs 896 - up Rs 10.
