Sensex above 9600pts; Satyam gains 4%

The Sensex opened at 9625 points on Tuesday, up 92 points. It is now trading at 9613 points, up 79 points.

The Nifty opened at 2922.55 points, the same level as Monday's. It is now trading at 2941 points, up 19 points.    
Satyam is the top gainer at 3.9% to Rs 154, Tata Motors is up 3.1% to Rs 153.40. RCom, Ranbaxy, Jaiprakash Associates, DLF, M&M, Sterlite and Maruti are up over 2% each.

Infosys has lost 1.3% to Rs 1,096, HDFC is down 0.8% to Rs 1,487 and SBI has declined 0.55% to Rs 1,265. Hindustan Unilever, TCS, Bhel and NTPC are the other Sensex stocks that have declined.
