Sensex almost flat; Hero, Bajaj move up

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 20 points at 12,174. The index touched a high of 12,480, and then slipped into red to touch a low of 12,433.

The index is now up four points at 12,458.

Hero Honda has moved up 1.5% to Rs 786, and Bajaj Auto has added 1.2% to Rs 3,035.

Infosys has slipped 1% to Rs 1,830. Cipla, Dr.Reddy's and Ranbaxy are the other prominent losers.
