Sensex at day's high, up 147pts

The Sensex is now up 147 points at 10,960.

ICICI Bank has rallied 3.6% to Rs 589. Bharti Airtel has surged 2.7% to Rs 403.

Larsen & Toubro, SBI and ITC have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,260, Rs 828 and Rs 172, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Reliance Communications and ONGC are the other major gainers.

Out of 2,389 stocks traded so far, 1,473 have advanced, 835 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
