Sensex at day's high, up 55pts

The Sensex has rallied to the day's high and is now up 55 points 12,025.

Reliance Communications has rallied 3% to Rs 341. Tata Steel and NTPC have surged 1.5% each to Rs 496 and Rs 129, respectively.

Maruti, Larsen & Toubro and Hero Honda have gained over 1% each to Rs 928, Rs 2,680 and Rs 776, respectively. Bharti Airtel is up 1% at Rs 444.

Out of 2,425 stocks traded so far, 1,241 have declined, 1,100 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
