Sensex at day's high, up 69pts, tech stocks lead

The Sensex is now at the day's high of 10,922 - up 69 points.

The index swung almost 150 points in the first few trades of the day.

Technology stocks are leading the upmove. Infosys and Satyam have rallied nearly 2% each to Rs 3,021 and Rs 719, respectively. Wipro has advanced 1.6% to Rs 478, and TCS has added 1.3% to Rs 1,870.

Reliance has gained 1.5% at Rs 971. Larsen & Toubro has moved up 1.3% to Rs 2,476.

Tata Power and Dr.Reddy's are up over 1% each at Rs 512 and Rs 1,398, respectively.

Tata Motors has slipped 1.5% to Rs 813. HDFC Bank has declined over 1% to Rs 752.

The market breadth is positive - out of 1,883 stocks traded so far, 1,086 have advanced, 724 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
