Sensex at day's low; breadth marginally +ve

The Sensex has extended losses and is now down 122 points at 10,901. Earlier in the day, the index had touched a high of 11,210.

Reliance Infrastructure has gained 6% at Rs 697. Jaiprakash Associates has rallied 4% to Rs 116.

Tata Motors has moved up 3% to Rs 244. Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Communictions, Sterlite and ACC have added 1-2% each.

On the other hand, NTPC and ITC have dropped 3% each to Rs 187 and Rs 183, respectively. ICICI Bank has shed 2.5% to Rs 431.

TCS, Hindalco, Tata Power, Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank and Ranbaxy have declined 1-2% each.

The market breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,559 stocks traded so far, 1,343 have advanced, and 1,128 have declined.
