Sensex at day's low, down 342pts

The Sensex now tumbled to the day's low at 9468 - down 342 points.

BHEL has plunged over 7% to Rs 1,735.

Hero Honda, Grasim, HDFC and Tata Steel have shed 6.5% each to Rs 702, Rs 1,660, Rs 1,130 and Rs 427, respectively.

RCoVL and HLL are down around 6% each at Rs 208 and Rs 196, respectively.

Out of 2,400 stocks traded so far, 1,558 have declined, 787 have advanced and 55 are unchanged.
