Sensex back in green; M&M, Tata Motors lead

The Sensex has moved back into the positive zone and is now up 136 points at 15,209.

The NSE Nifty is up 37 points at 4,555.

Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) have rallied around 4% each to Rs 444 and Rs 584, respectively.

HDFC has surged 3% to Rs 2,468. Tata Steel, Sterlite and Maruti have advanced 2.8% each to Rs 664, Rs 605 and Rs 671, respectively.

Satyam, Reliance Infrastructure and NTPC have moved up around 2% each to Rs 416, Rs 1,031 and Rs 184, respectively.

HDFC Bank has added 1.8% to Rs 1,239. DLF, ONGC, Hindalco and Wipro are up over 1% each at Rs 552, Rs 1,028, Rs 143 and Rs 458, respectively.

 

Bharti Airtel has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 845. ACC has shed 1.8% at Rs 626.

BHEL, Grasim and Reliance Communications are down around 1% each at Rs 1,807, Rs 2,019 and Rs 442, respectively.
