Sensex below 11,900, down 41pts

The Sensex dropped to a low of 11,872 - down 215 points from the day's high of 12,087. The index is now down 41 points at 11,897.

ONGC has slumped 6.3% to Rs 1,299.

Infosys has plunged 3% to Rs 3,132. Wipro has slipped over 2% to Rs 537.

ACC has shed 2.8% to Rs 941, and Grasim has declined over 1% to Rs 2,350.

Maruti has declined 2.2% to Rs 903. Tata Motors is down 1.5% at Rs 944. Hero Honda has slipped 1% to Rs 838.

Bharti Tele has plunged 2% to Rs 403.

Reliance and Hindalco are up nearly 2% each at Rs 996 and Rs 219, respectively.

HDFC has advanced 1.8% to Rs 1,320. Larsen & Toubro and TCS are up 1.3% each at Rs 2,696 and Rs 1,967, respectively.

ITC and Bajaj Auto are up 1% each at Rs 204 and Rs 2,980, respectively.

Out of 2,552 stocks traded so far, 1,424 have advanced, 1,066 have declined and 62 are unchanged.
