<b>Sensex breaks 14K, down 381pts </b>

Aggressive selling for the second consecutive day has forced the Sensex break the 14,000-mark in late morning trades.

The index is now down 381 points at 13,977.

Satyam and Infosys have plunged 5% each to Rs 443 and Rs 1,814, respectively.

Tata Steel has slumped 4% to Rs 552. Maruti and Bharti Airtel have shed 3.4% each to Rs 764 and Rs 774, respectively.

ACC has tumbled over 3% to Rs 948. Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank and Wipro have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 482, Rs 1,065 and Rs 457, respectively.

Hindalco is the sole gainer among the index stocks.
