Sensex crosses 9500-mark

The Sensex has crossed another landmark 9500 owing to all-round buying in the markets. The index touched a peak of 9501, and is now up now up 99 points at 9489.

Maruti, Grasim, Dr.Reddy's, HDFC, ACC and ITC continue to remain firm.

Cipla and Reliance Energy are the only losers among the Sensex stocks.

Out of a total of 2,556 stocks traded on the BSE so far, 2,083 have advanced, 431 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
