Sensex displaying volatility

The market is witnessing a sharp fluctuation as most of the stocks are trading with steep movements. The Sensex, which slipped into the red shortwhile ago, has rolled back into the green to 6,573 - up nine points. The Nifty is down five points at 2,067.

Reliance is still up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 533, and ITC is trading off-highs with a gain of Rs 4 at Rs 1,323. HLL is down a tad at Rs 144.

Infosys (up Rs 12 to Rs 2,074), Satyam (up Rs 2 to Rs 415) and Wipro (up a rupee to Rs 753) are trading with modest gains.

ACC is up 1.84% (Rs 6) at Rs 331. Other cement pivotals are trading at mixed levels.

Hero Honda is holding on to its gains at Rs 560 - up Rs 10 or 1.76%.

Hindalco has advanced 1.83% (Rs 25) to Rs 1,393.

ONGC is down a per cent (Rs 8) at Rs 817. BHEL has slipped 1.58% (Rs 12) to Rs 743. While HPCL has declined 1.49% (Rs 6) to Rs 398, L&T has lost 1.65% (Rs 17) to Rs 988.
