Sensex down 10 points

Selective profit-taking in the market has pulled the Sensex into the negative zone. The index is now down 10 points at 9607.

Bharti Tele is up 1.9% at Rs 349. HDFC Bank has gained 1.5% at Rs 750.

Reliance Energy at Rs 620, HDFC at Rs 1,254 and Ranbaxy at Rs 369 are up 1% each.

ONGC, Hero Honda and Satyam have pared gains, but still continue to trade in positive territory.

Grasim down 1.4% at Rs 1,457 is the major loser.

Bajaj Auto, Maruti, ITC, Dr.Reddy's, HLL, Wipro and Cipla have declined over 1% each.

Out of a total of 2,354 stocks traded 1,304 have advanced, 1,086 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
