Sensex down 102pts; RIL, SBI slip 2%

The Sensex is now down 102 points at 10,666.

NTPC rallied 2.5% to Rs 117. BHEL gained 1.8% at Rs 1,947. Bharti Airtel was up 1.4% at Rs 372.

HDFC dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,196. Reliance and SBI slipped 2.2% each to Rs 1,057 and Rs 732, respectively.

Tata Steel and Reliance Energy have shed 2% each to Rs 536 and Rs 460, respectively.

Tata Motors and ITC are down over 1.5% each at Rs 784 and Rs 179, respectively.

Out of 2,378 stocks traded so far, 1,294 have advanced, 989 have declined and 95 are unchanged.
