Sensex down 102pts; Satyam drops 3%

The Sensex opened with a negative gap of 83 points at 13,691, and soon tumbled to a low of 13,589.

The index, however, has soon recovered and is now down 102 points at 13,671.

Satyam has plunged 2.7% to Rs 452. Wipro and Infosys have dropped 2% each to Rs 590 and Rs 2,185, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, ICICI Bank and Larsen & Toubro have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 726, Rs 870 and Rs 1,377, respectively.

Tata Motors, Hindalco, Reliance Communications and Tata Steel are down over 1% each.
