Sensex down 104pts at 9479

The Sensex is now down 104 points at 9479, after touching a low of 9464.

Ranbaxy has surged nearly 5% to Rs 396. Gujarat Ambuja is up 1.9% at Rs 87.80. NTPC and Wipro are the only other gainers among the index stocks.

Reliance, Reliance Energy, Infosys, Hero Honda, HDFC, Dr.Reddy's, Tata Steel, HLL, Bharti Tele, Satyam and ACC continue to languish at lower levels.
