Sensex down 105pts; breadth fairly -ve

The Sensex is now down 105 points at 19,296.

Infosys has slumped 5.5% to Rs 1,748 to its 52-week low. Satyam has plunged 4% to Rs 435, and Wipro has shed 3.5% at Rs 470. TCS is down 1.4% at Rs 991.

Reliance Communications has slipped over 3% to Rs 722. Dr.Reddy's and Bharti Airtel have slipped over 2% each to Rs 600 and Rs 899, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has shed 1.5% at Rs 192. Hindalco, Grasim and Reliance Energy are down over 1% each at Rs 189, Rs 3,610 and Rs 1,825, respectively.

BHEL has soared 3.7% to Rs 2,825. Reliance has surged 2.6% to Rs 2,725.

Larsen & Toubro and Ambuja Cements have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 4,191 and Rs 146, respectively. SBI has advanced 1% to Rs 2,233.

The market breadth is fairly negative - out of 2,511 stocks traded so far, 1,596 have declined, 838 have advanced and 77 are unchanged.
