Sensex down 105pts; Hindalco slips 2.4%

The Sensex is now trading 105 points lower at 16,801.

The Nifty is trading 42 points lower at 4982.

Bharti is up 2.7% to Rs 840 and HDFC has gained 2.2% at Rs 2,685.

HDFC Bank is up 0.8 % to Rs1,392. Satyam and Cipla  are trading over 0.5%.

Tata Motors and Hindalco are down 2.4% to Rs 645 and Rs 193.

L&T has lost 2% to Rs 2,858. ONGC and Ambuja Cements have slipped 1.9% to Rs 907 and Rs 102 respectively.

Tata Steel is down 1.6% at Rs 893.

ICICI Bank, ACC, Jaiprakash Associates, NTPCand Maruti are the other major losers.
