Sensex down 105pts; REL, Guj Amb up 2%

The Sensex is now down 105 points at 14,107.

Reliance Energy has surged 2% to Rs 516. Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 1.8% to Rs 137.

ITC, Satyam and Ranbaxy have rallied over 1% each to Rs 175, Rs 470 and Rs 407, respectively.

Tata Steel has plunged over 9% to Rs 471. Hindalco and HLL have slipped over 2% to Rs 177 and Rs 210, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has shed nearly 2% to Rs 1,585. Wipro, ACC and HDFC have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 620, Rs 1,029 and Rs 1,645, respectively.

Reliance and Tata Motors are down 1.3% each to Rs 1,363 and Rs 888, respectively.

Out of 2,640 stocks traded so far, 1,578 have declined, 1,010 have advanced and 52 are unchanged.
