Sensex down 106pts; HDFC Bank drops 3%

 HDFC Bank has plunged nearly 3% to Rs 983. HDFC and Grasim have slipped over 2% each to Rs 1,641 and Rs 2,435, respectively.

ACC, ONGC and Hindalco have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 858, Rs 874 and Rs 144, respectively.

HLL, Tata Steel, Wipro and Bharti Airtel have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 187, Rs 567, Rs 544 and Rs 808, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has surged 1.5% to Rs 2,650 ahead of the de-merger meet on May 17.
