Sensex down 106pts; HDFC drops 4%

The Sensex is now down 106 points at 10,045.

Reliance Energy has gained 1.5% at Rs 444. BHEL and Hero Honda are up 1% each at Rs 1,815 and Rs 759, respectively.

Reliance Communications has dropped 4.5% to Rs 219. HDFC has slipped over 4% to Rs 1,045. ONGC has shed nearly 3% to Rs 1,032.

SBI, Bharti Airtel and Dr.Reddy's are down over 2% each at Rs 713, Rs 353 and Rs 1,275, respectively.

Out of 2,091 stocks traded so far, 1,461 have declined, 573 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
