Sensex down 107pts; breadth extremely -ve

The Sensex is now down 107 points at 14,545.

Gujarat Ambuja has plunged 3.5% to Rs 136. Satyam has tumbled 3% to Rs 471.

ACC has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 1,037, and Reliance Communications has shed 2.5% to Rs 477.

Maruti, Reliance Energy, SBI and Larsen & Toubro have declined around 2% each to Rs 943, Rs 555, Rs 1,182 and Rs 1,720, respectively.

Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel are down around 1.5% each at Rs 454 and Rs 755, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has gained 2.8% at Rs 3,092. NTPC is up nearly 1% at Rs 144.

Out of 2,645 stocks traded, 2,068 have declined, 525 have advanced and 52 are unchanged.
