Sensex down 108pts; ACC drops 4%

The Sensex is now down 108 points to 13,564.

ACC has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 785. Satyam has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 446, and Bajaj Auto has shed 2.4% to Rs 2,437.

HDFC, BHEL, Infosys and Tata Steel have slipped around 2% each to Rs 1,560, Rs 2,499, Rs 2,037 and Rs 502, respectively.

Wipro has dropped 1.7% to Rs 576. Tata Motors and NTPC are down around 1.5% each to Rs 711 and Rs 160, respectively.

ITC, Gujarat Ambuja and SBI have gained 1% each at Rs 159, Rs 114 and Rs 1,045, respectively.

Out of 2,523 stocks traded so far, 1,428 have declined, 1,009 have advanced and 86 are unchanged.
