Sensex down 109pts; Bharti up 2%

The Sensex is now down 109 points at 14,100.

Bharti Airtel has rallied 2% to Rs 690. Ranbaxy and Reliance Energy have moved up 1% each to Rs 408 and Rs 511, respectively.

ACC has plunged over 4% to Rs 1,070. Grasim has shed 2.6% to Rs 2,819, and Gujarat Ambuja has slipped 1.7% to Rs 144.

Dr.Reddy's has dropped 3.7% to Rs 780.

ITC, Infosys, HLL, SBI, Maruti and Hero Honda are down over 1% each.

Out of 2,450 stocks traded so far, 1,367 have declined, 1,027 have advanced and 56 are unchanged.
