Sensex down 109pts; Rel Comm spurts 1.5%

The Sensex has recovered partially from the day's low of 13,397, and is now down 109 points at 13,458.

Reliance Communications has surged 1.5% to Rs 429. ACC and Tata Steel are the other prominent gainers.

ONGC has dropped 3.3% to Rs 888. Satyam has shed 2.3% to Rs 457.

HDFC and Wipro have declined around 2% each to Rs 1,530 and Rs 570, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, TCS, Cipla, Grasim, BHEL and Larsen & Toubro are down over 1% each to Rs 788, Rs 1,239, Rs 241, Rs 2,792, Rs 2,224 and Rs 1,417, respectively.
