Sensex down 10pts; breadth marginally +ve

The Sensex is now down 10 points at 14,525.

Satyam, NTPC and Reliance Communications have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 470, Rs 162 and Rs 518, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco are up over 1% each at Rs 1,968 and Rs 148, respectively.

Tata Motors has shed 1.6% to Rs 700, and HDFC has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,872.

HDFC Bank and ONGC are the other notable losers.

The market breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,041 stocks traded so far, 1,138 have advanced, 823 have declined and 80 are unchanged.
