Sensex down 10pts; market breadth turns -ve

The Sensex has slipped into negative zone and is now down 10 points at 10,685.

HDFC has advanced 2% to Rs 1,154. Tata Motors and ACC have gained 1.7% each at Rs 801 and Rs 793, respectively.

Wipro, Satyam and NTPC are up 1% each.

Reliance Communications and ITC have shed around 2.5% each to Rs 247 and Rs 180, respectively.

HLL has dropped 1.7% to Rs 233. Ranbaxy and Bharti Airtel have slipped over 1% each to Rs 353 and Rs 367, respectively.

The market breath has turned negative - out of 2,124 stocks traded so far, 1,157 have declined, 885 have advanced and 82 are unchanged.
