Sensex down 10pts; SBI, ITC weak

The Sensex has recovered most of its losses and is now down 10 points at 14,393.

Maruti has rallied 2.4% to Rs 840. Tata Motors has surged 2% to Rs 739.

Tata Steel has gained 1.7% at Rs 633. HDFC Bank and Satyam have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 1,120 and Rs 455, respectively.

HLL, BHEL and Ranbaxy are up around 1% each at Rs 196, Rs 2,665 and Rs 403, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja and Bajaj Auto have slipped over 2% each to Rs 116 and Rs 2,200, respectively.

SBI and ITC have shed 1.5% each to Rs 1,327 and Rs 169, respectively.

Out of 2,341 stocks traded so far, 1,262 have declined, 998 have advanced and 81 are unchanged.
