Sensex down 111pts; RCL drops 5.5%

The Sensex is now down 111 points at 10,040.

Reliance Communications (RCL) has plunged 5.5% to Rs 216. HDFC has shed 4% to Rs 1,047. ONGC has dropped 3.5% to Rs 1,024.

ICICI Bank, SBI, Tata Steel, Dr.Reddy's and Bharti Tele are down over 2% each at Rs 487, Rs 713, Rs 507, Rs 1,273 and Rs 354, respectively.

Out of 2,157 stocks traded so far, 1,532 have declined, 570 have advanced and 55 are unchanged.
