Sensex down 113pts; REL, RCom weak

The Sensex is now down 113 points at 14,250.

Tata Steel has plunged 3.6% to Rs 635. Reliance Energy and Reliance Communications (RCom) has dropped over 2.5% each to Rs 556 and Rs 497, respectively.

Hero Honda, ACC, HDFC Bank and HDFC have slipped around 2% each to Rs 679, Rs 869, Rs 1,090 and Rs 1,768, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Ranbaxy and SBI have gained 1.5% each at Rs 1,704, Rs 384 and Rs 1,287, respectively.

NTPC has surged 2.6% to Rs 160. HLL has rallied 1.5% to Rs 202.

Satyam and Infosys are up over 1% each at Rs 458 and Rs 1,947, respectively.

Out of 2,583 stocks traded so far, 1,492 have declined, 1,010 have advanced and 81 are unchanged.
