The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 114 points at 18,039. The NSE Nifty is down 15 points at 5,259. ITC and Grasim have soared 3.6% each to Rs 204 and Rs 3,054, respectively. Cipla and Wipro have surged 3.45 each to Rs 191 and Rs 420, respectively. Infosys and Tata Steel have rallied around 3% each to Rs 1,491 and Rs 718, respectively. Mahindra & Mahindra has moved up 2.5% to Rs 704. Ambuja Cements has gained 1.8% at Rs 117. HDFC and Ranbaxy have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 2,823 and Rs 355, respectively. Hindustan Unilever and TCS have added 1.3% each to Rs 202 and Rs 865, respectively. Reliance, ONGC and Satyam are up over 1% each at Rs 2,595, Rs 1,012 and Rs 403, respectively. ICICI Bank has slumped 4.7% to Rs 1,214. Maruti and HDFC Bank have plunged around 4% each to Rs 827 and Rs 1,523, respectively. Bajaj Auto has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 2,375. SBI has shed 2% at Rs 2,260. Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Toubro have dropped 1% each at Rs 860 and Rs 3,807, respectively. |
