Sensex down 115pts; Cipla, Ranbaxy drops

The Sensex is now down 115 points at 14,103.

Satyam has shed 5.5% to Rs 486. Ranbaxy has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 416, and Cipla has shed 2.5% to Rs 252.

Wipro has plunged 3% to Rs 622. Tata Steel, Reliance Energy and BHEL have dropped around 2% each to Rs 465, Rs 518 and Rs 2,258, respectively.

BHEL, ONGC, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors are down around 1.5% each at Rs 2,258, Rs 902, Rs 1,563 and Rs 939, respectively.

ITC has gained 1.7% at Rs 175. Reliance is up nearly 1% at Rs 1,379.

Out of 2,549 stocks traded so far, 1,619 have declined, 882 have advanced and 48 are unchanged.
