Sensex down 116pts; SBI soars 6%

The Sensex is now down 116 points at 10,097.

SBI has soared over 6% to Rs 864. ICICI Bank has advanced 2.5% to Rs 552.

Hero Honda has zoomed over 3% to Rs 782.

Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Energy are down over 5% each at Rs 2,144 and Rs 436, respectively.

The market breadth remains very weak - out of 2,425 stocks traded so far, 2,016 have declined, 374 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
