Sensex down 117pts; Tata Motors drops 3%

The Sensex is now down 117 points at 13,855.

Tata Motors has dropped 2.6% to Rs 869. HLL and ONGC have dropped 2.3% each to Rs 235 and Rs 841, respectively.

Satyam and Reliance have slipped over 2% each to Rs 456 and Rs 1,273, respectively.

ACC and Bajaj Auto have shed 1.8% each to Rs 1,113 and Rs 2,658, respectively.

Wipro, Reliance Communications, TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys and Larsen & Toubro are the other major losers.

Reliance Energy has surged 2.7% to Rs 557. Dr.Reddy's has advanced 2.3% to Rs 775, and SBI has moved up over 1% to Rs 1,363.

Out of 2,636 stocks traded so far, 1,518 have declined, 1,031 have advanced and 87 are unchanged.
