Sensex down 119pts; Hindalco plunges 9%

The Sensex is now down 119 points at 14,420.

Hindalco has plunged 8.5% to Rs 159. Reliance Communications has dropped nearly 4% to Rs 458.

Reliance Energy has shed 1.7% to Rs 546. ICICI Bank, ACC and SBI have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 978, Rs 1,021 and Rs 1,182, respectively.

HDFC Bank, NTPC, Bajaj Auto and Dr.Reddy's are down over 1%each.

Bharti Airtel has spurted over 1% to Rs 762.
