Sensex down 11pts, Grasim up 2%

The Sensex closed with a loss of 11 points at 7,595.

Reliance declined Rs 4 to Rs 707. While ITC slipped Rs 22 to Rs 1,702, SBI was down Rs 2 at Rs 776.

Infosys dropped Rs 7 to Rs 2,263, and Satyam was down Rs 11 at Rs 498. Wipro gained 1.7% (Rs 12) to Rs 716, and TCS was up Rs 4 at Rs 1,284.

Reliance Energy slipped Rs 15 to Rs 614.

Grasim closed on a firm note with a gain of 2% (Rs 26) at Rs 1,258. L&T was up Rs 13 at Rs 1,324.

ICICI Bank was up Rs 4 at Rs 483. Bharti, HDFC, Hindalco, Hero Honda, NTPC, ONGC and Tisco also closed with gains.
