Sensex down 11pts; HDFC Bank advances

The Sensex is now down 11 points at 16,835.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,366. Tata Steel is up over 1% at Rs 758.

Ranbaxy, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel and HDFC are the other notable gainers.

Ambuja Cements has slipped over 1% to Rs 147.
