Sensex down 11pts; market breadth narrows

The Sensex is now down 11 points at 11,455.

ONGC and Reliance Energy have slipped over 2% each to Rs 1,183 and Rs 447, respectively.

Ranbaxy and Dr.Reddy's have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 401 and Rs 1,469, respectively. Hero Honda has declined 1.5% to Rs 695.

HLL, HDFC and ITC are down over 1% each to Rs 235, Rs 1,286 and Rs 178, respectively.

The market breadth has narrowed down. Out of 2,482 stocks traded so far, 1,351 have advanced, 1,065 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
