Sensex down 120pts; Maruti slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 120 points at 19,127.

Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank have plunged 2% each to Rs 930 and Rs 1,135, respectively. Maruti has tumbled 1.8% to Rs 935.

Reliance Energy, ACC and NTPC have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 1,761, Rs 1,112 and Rs 235, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,622. Hindalco and Reliance are down 1% each at Rs 192 and Rs 2,851, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has rallied over 2% to Rs 2,643. SBI has advanced over 1% to Rs 2,270.

Out of 2,701 stocks traded so far, 1,348 have declined, 1,284 have advanced and 69 are unchanged.
