Sensex down 121pts; Tata Motors slips 3%

The Sensex is now down 121 points at 15,966.

The NSE Nifty is down 25 points at 4,804.

Tata Motors has slipped 3% to Rs 657. The company yesterday sealed the Jaguar Land Rover deal with Ford for $2.3 billion.

HDFC Bank has plunged 3% to Rs 1,399, and Infosys has shed 2% at Rs 1,465.

Jaiprakash Associates has tumbled nearly 2% to Rs 222. Reliance and Larsen & Toubro have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 2,260 and Rs 2,995, respectively.

Satyam and DLF have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 407 and Rs 648, respectively.

BHEL, Reliance Energy and HDFC are down over 1% each to Rs 1,930, Rs 1,282 and Rs 2,628, respectively.

Hindalco has rallied 2.4% to Rs 166. ONGC, Hindustan Unilever and Ambuja Cements have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 1,080, Rs 238 and Rs 124, respectively.

Cipla is up over 1% at Rs 208.
