Sensex down 122pts; ONGC, HDFC drag

The Sensex is now down 122 points at 14,281.

ONGC, Grasim and HDFC have shed over 2.5% each to Rs 881, Rs 2,582 and Rs 1,650, respectively.

Reliance Communications, Reliance Energy, SBI and Maruti have slipped around 2% each to Rs 453, Rs 524, Rs 1,108 and Rs 897, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Wipro and Gujarat Ambuja have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 1,665, Rs 668 and Rs 131, respectively.

Ranbaxy has advanced over 1% to Rs 396.

Out of 2,608 stocks traded, 1,881 have declined, 680 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
