Sensex down 123pts; Bharti slips 3%

The Sensex is now down 123 points at 20,094.

Wipro has plunged 3.5% to Rs 530. Bharti Airtel has tumbled 3% to Rs 938.

Bajaj Auto has shed 2.4% at Rs 2,608. ONGC and HDFC Bank have slipped 2% each to Rs 1,215 and Rs 1,710, respectively.

ICICI Bank and TCS have declined 1.8% each to Rs 1,220 and Rs 1,080, respectively.

Tata Motors, Cipla and Maruti have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 728, Rs 213 and Rs 982, respectively.

Satyam, Infosys and Larsen & Toubro are down 1% each at Rs 446, Rs 1,786 and Rs 4,120, respectively.

DLF has rallied 2% to Rs 1,030.

Ambuja Cements has gained 1.3% at Rs 147. Tata Steel and Ranbaxy have advanced over 1% each to Rs 917 and Rs 416, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra is up almost 1% at Rs 835.

Out of 2,939 stocks traded so far, 2,124 have advanced, 788 have declined and 27 are unchanged.
