Sensex down 126pts; ITC, HLL drop 2%

The Sensex is now down 126 points at 13,523.

Hero Honda and ICICI Bank have slipped over 3% each to Rs 683 and Rs 878, respectively. Bajaj Auto has tumbled 2.6% to Rs 2,740.

ITC, ONGC and Tata Motors have plunged over 2% each to Rs 166, Rs 817 and Rs 823, respectively.

Wipro, HLL and Satyam have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 603, Rs 186 and Rs 453, respectively.

Grasim and HDFC Bank are the prominent gainers.

Out of 2,519 stocks traded so far, 1,353 have advanced, 1,097 have declined and 69 are unchanged.
