Sensex down 128pts; DLF slumps 5%

The Sensex has slipped back into red and is now down 128 points at 18,474.

SBI has soared over 3% to Rs 2,222. Hindalco has surged 1.7% to Rs 188, and Bajaj Auto has rallied 1.4% to Rs 2,455.

DLF has slumped nearly 5% to Rs 828. Reliance Energy and NTPC have plunged 4% each to Rs 1,625 and Rs 230, repsectively.

Reliance Communications and BHEL have shed 2.7% each to Rs 663 and Rs 2,418, respectively. Larsen & Toubro has dropped 2.4% to Rs 4,009.

Bharti Airtel and HDFC have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 885 and Rs 2,562, respectively. ONGC has declined 1.3% to Rs 1,177.

Out of 2,625 stocks traded so far, 1,712 have declined, 876 have advanced and 37 are unchanged.
