Sensex down 129pts; ONGC, HDFC slip 2%

The Sensex is now down 129 points at 13,637.

TCS has dropped 3.3% to Rs 1,226. ONGC and HDFC have shed 2% each to Rs 904 and Rs 1,574, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and BHEL have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 2,488 and Rs 2,426, respectively.

Satyam, Infosys, Cipla, Hindalco and Tata Motors have declined 1.3% each to Rs 450, Rs 1,976, Rs 209, Rs 143 and Rs 716, respectively.

Hero Honda has gained 1.5% at Rs 690. ITC and Reliance Energy are the other notable gainers.

Out of 2,555 stocks traded so far, 1,543 have declined, 889 have advanced and 123 are unchanged.
